The Venue of Convention is “CASA FIRJAN” (House Firjan)

1. The Address of “CASA FIRJAN” is Rua Guilhermina Guinle, 211 – Botafogo (Neighborhood)

Note: CASA FIRJAN is located in a full quarter so its borders cover two other streets (Rua São Clemente and Rua Mariana) but the entrance is located at Rua Guilhermina Guinle.

2. It is advised that participants arrive at CASA FIRJAN between 8:00 – 8:20 to avoid the long queue in the process of registration

3. Arriving at CASA FIRJAN- Participants should have:

a. a document with photo (passport is a good idea);

b. the QR code of registration provided by SYMPLA (printed or in the mobile phone);

4. Directions to CASA FIRJAN and Public Transportation in Rio

a. For those that are staying in hotels in Botafogo (Novotel Praia de Botafogo, IBIS Budget Praia de Botafogo, Mercure Mourisco and Ibis Rio de Janeiro Botafogo), it is possible to reach CASA FIRJAN by walking. The furthest place among the four hotels is less than 15 minutes walking distance to the entrance at Rua Guilhermina Guinle, 211.

b. For people staying in other neighborhoods of Rio de Janeiro such as Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, Flamengo, Laranjeiras and Centro,  you can take the nearest Metro (subway) station towards to Botafogo Station.

c. When arriving at Botafogo Station, take EXIT to Rua São Clemente.

d. From Rua São Clemente exit to CASA FIRJAN is a 7 minutes walk (500 m). To guide your walk look in the mountain direction to Christ Redentor Statue (Corcovado Monument), walk towards this direction.

e. Alternatively, you can take an UBER as it is another common mode of transportation in the city and it is safe.

 f. If you opt for a TAXI (cab), it is advisable to keep the address of CASA FIRJAN (Esquina entre São Clemente e Guilhermina Guinle) with you as the TAXI drivers in Rio de Janeiro usually do not speak English.

 ATTENTIONThere will be receptionists at the entrance. Please tell them if you are a panelist and they will guide you accordingly.
