International Trade Centre (ITC)

The International Trade Centre (ITC) is the only development agency that is fully dedicated to supporting the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This means that the agency enables SMEs in developing and transition economies to become more competitive, connect to international markets for trade and investment, raise incomes and create job opportunities.

ITC and Voluntary Sustainability Standards

The ITC Trade for Sustainable Development (T4SD) provides targeted solutions and training programmes based on web platforms and solid expertise in the areas of Voluntary Sustainability Standards, sustainable sourcing and climate-smart exports.

T4SD’s Sustainability Map integrates the already well-established tools Standards Map and SustainabilityXchange to new interconnected modules, the “Network” and “Trends”.

T4SD is a partnership-based programme which helps businesses, regardless of their position in the value chain, chart their path to more sustainable trade by better understanding the sustainability initiatives landscape and to connect with business partners.
