The Sustainable Commodity Initiative (SCI) is a global multi-stakeholder initiative supporting sustainable production and trade in agricultural sectors and focusing on market and standard-based approaches. The SCI’s sub-programs focus on impact assessment, access to affordable finance, and coordinated technical assistance. The SCI is facilitated through a partnership of United Nations Conference on Trade and Environment (UNCTAD) and International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD).
